Introduction

I believe that every life is special and unique and deserves to be celebrated with skill and care. As a Green Fuse trained Celebrant, I am passionate about lifting the standard of funerals and questioning conventional thinking.

To do my job well, I take time with families to learn all I can about the person who has died and seek to discover those ‘threads of gold’ that I can weave into a poignant celebration of their life. It is my role to bring their presence and personality unequivocally into the room.

I look to discern their system of beliefs, guiding principles and passions of their life to ensure that the ceremony is absolutely in tune with what that person would want – and their loved ones will recognise.

My scripts can include religious content or may be entirely non-religious. Alternatively, they may reflect a range of spiritual and moral beliefs. The only important factor here is that they should be entirely appropriate to the belief system of the person who had died.

Producing bespoke funeral services is not a process I can rush and I will not take on more assignments than I can conduct well. I view my work as an honour and privilege.

I am fully trained by the highly regarded Green Fuse organisation and particularly work in the Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Walsall areas and am happy to work with families throughout the West Midlands.
